2022 CAYUCO

Brand new! Our Cayuco is a love letter to the Finger Lakes region. Harnessing the crisp, fruit-driven virtues of Cayuga White, Head Winemaker Dan Bissell saw an opportunity to create a refreshing Prosecco-style wine out of this widely-planted hybrid of the Finger Lakes. The word Cayuco means "little canoe", paying homage to both the grape used to make this wine in addition to our own Keuka Lake, whose name means "canoe landing".

Bright and bubbly, our Cayuco is driven by powerful notes of tart green apple, grapefruit and Meyer lemon on the nose and mid-palate. Firm, focused, and refreshing. Bright acidity with a clean finish.

Cayuco is the perfect addition to any picnic basket or evening on the deck. With its fine effervescence, our Cayuco also pairs beautifully with a variety of savory dishes. Oysters and crudités, sushi and sashimi, smoky cheeses, pasta stuffed with mushrooms, or a rich truffle risotto all make excellent accompaniments to this bright and lively wine. Serve well-chilled.
