CROOKED LAKE WHITE
“Crooked Lake,” the original name early settlers gave to Keuka Lake, graces the label of this smooth, dry white wine. We use a gentle overnight press cycle, ferment entirely in tanks, and forego malolactic fermentation to highlight the beautiful natural crispness of the wine.
We arrest fermentation of the two primary components of our popular Crooked Lake White before the yeast has consumed all of the sugars, leaving a touch of sweetness to highlight the lovely natural citrus notes and round out the mid-palate and finish. Bursting with nectarine and Bartlett pear, this wine is vibrant with bright acidity. It is lush and full, but with delightfully crisp citrus notes on the finish. Serve chilled.
