Shop the 2024 Vintage →Located on the southwestern side of Seneca Lake, Seneca Arrowhead Vineyard has thrived under the management of its steward, Harry Humphrey. The land itself is rich with history, the name deriving from how many arrowheads and Native American artifacts Harry's father would find on the property.
Its elevation, slope, and proximity to the lake provide ideal growing conditions. Although it is neighbors with many other vineyards, this site in particular consistently produces distinctive and intense Riesling year after year. It is a story that deserves to be shared.

Excellent ripeness for a 2023 dry riesling, with good apricot and mango aromas. Nice reductive tension on the compact, racy, medium-bodied palate. This is barely off-dry, but the serious structure gives it a dry-wine personality. Long, compact and savory finish. Drink or hold.
Every year without exception we experience something very consistent about the fruit from Seneca Arrowhead Vineyard. Ripe with intensity and tropical fruit, we realized long ago that the Riesling harvest from this unique site begs to stand alone. Thus was born “Humphreys Riesling,” a perennial award winner and beloved fan favorite. This wine is dry, but balanced with explosive aromatics and bright acidity. Textural and persistent.
