2021 WINEMAKER SELECT TANK 011 GEWÜRZTRAMINER

Cellar Finds
$24.99 / bottle (750mL)

Gewürztraminer is known for being a historically challenging varietal to grow in the Finger Lakes Region. However, those who embrace this challenge are rewarded with a wine of exceptional character and complexity. To bring out the full potential of this unique varietal, we cold-soaked the fruit on the skins for 24 hours. This process enhance the extraction of the vibrant aromas and intricate flavors that are characteristic of Gewürztraminer. Originally released in 2022 as part of our Winemakers Select series, this wine quickly stood out during blending trials. Tank 011, in particular, displayed extraordinary promise. Recognizing its distinct qualities, we decided to highlight it as a standalone wine, showcasing its unique profile. Enjoy the nuanced bouquet and the richly layered palate that Tank 011 Gewürztraminer offers - a testament to the dedication and expertise of our growers and winemakers.

Crisp and spicy with aromas of rose, pineapple, and enticing stonefruit. Full, round mouthfeel with notes of luscious peach and lychee accompanied by eucalyptus and a hint of white pepper on the finish.
